remove pathways from a PGDB

Hello everybody!

At this moment, I am working on the refinement phase of a PGDB. After running Pathway Hole Filler, I have obtained a list of Pathway Holes and potential candidates. In some pathways, although there is a reaction assigned to an enzyme I think the pathway should not be included. How I can remove a complete pathway from a PGDB when I think there is enough evidence to consider that that specific pathway is not present in the PGDB. I have checked the manual, but I didnot find anything, Maybe I am missing something.

Thank you so much for your time

Hi Beatriz,

Go to the page for the pathway, right-click on the pathway name, and select Edit -> Delete Frame. If the pathway includes one or more reactions that do not have enzymes and are not in any other pathways, the software will ask you if you wish to delete them too -- you will probably want to say yes to this.

Once you have finished deleting all the pathways you think should be deleted (and saved the pgdb), you should update the cellular overview diagram (Overviews -> Update...).
