Hi, there. After Installation I try to run the program, it works fine at Ubuntu 16/04 and mac system. However then I try to install it our server. I get the following error: child process exited abnormally Any ideas?

Then I re-run the pathway tools, I got some other error: Version of Pathway Tools, ie 19.0 etc: EcoCyc and MetaCyc for Linux 64bit Platform (ie Windows 8.1, Mac 10.9, Linux Ubuntu 12.04 etc): Centos 7

There's a library compatibility issue here with v19.0 and CentOS7. We believe that combination will not work. However, one quick thing you could try to do to make it work:

  1. Install the Motif lib from CentOS/RedHat (this guarantees that motif has all of its dependencies installed)
  2. Rename the libXm.so library that we bundle with the install in the exe directory, ie: a) cd aic-export/pathway-tools/ptools/19.0/exe/ b) mkdir disable c) mv libXm.so* disable d) this maybe optional, as CLIM should be able to find the system installed version of motif: "ln -s PATHTODISTRO_LIBS/libXm.so* ."

You could also try upgrading to the latest version of Pathway Tools (which you should do regardless, as we do not support versions that are over a year old).

Hi there. Many thanks for your nice reply. I am installed v21.0 at CentOS7. It works when I disable the libXm.so at exe folder. Many thanks for your help.
